Simple and effective beaded leaves can be woven in several ways: looped, parallel, but one of the simplest is the French (circular) weaving method.
It is necessary
- - beads;
- - wire for beading;
- - wire cutters.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the beads into a suitable container for stringing. Cut off two pieces of wire. The first one should be about 15 centimeters long and should be folded in half. It will become the axis. The second piece of wire should be 60-80 centimeters long - this will be low.
Step 2
Secure the long piece of wire by wrapping it around the axis several times. You can do without an axial wire at all by folding the end of the main one in the form of a loop.
Step 3
Put several beads on the central fragment (axis). Their number depends on the size of the future sheet. String a sufficient number of beads onto the working wire. In your left hand, hold a blank sheet, and with your right hand, form a semicircle, going around the beads on the axis. Wrap (1 or 2 times) the work wire around the axis. Pull up a few more beads on the bottom, form another semicircle. Wrap the wire around the axis at the base of the future sheet.
Step 4
Do the next semicircles in sequence, each time making 1-2 turns low around the axis. The closer the beads of adjacent rows are located to each other, the neater the leaf will look.
Step 5
If you want to make a rounded sheet, the work wire should be attached at a 90 degree angle to the axis. A sharp leaf will turn out if you do it at an angle of 45 degrees. If you need a sharp and elongated sheet, you can put 1 bead on the axis between the semicircles.
Step 6
The openwork (toothed leaf) is woven in a similar way. String such a number of beads on the axis, which will determine the "height" of the sheet. Fix the low one on the lower part of the axle. Make the first two semicircles (left and right) close to the axis.
Step 7
The second semicircle should form a "tooth". To do this, count the required number of beads, lower them down. The working wire should no longer be wrapped around the axis, but around the first semicircle, stepping back a few beads from above.
Step 8
Then you pull a few more beads down and bring the working wire back, fix it in the lower part of the axis and bring it to the opposite side. There you also lower the beads down and wrap the wire around a semicircle, trying to make the teeth symmetrical.
