A beautiful box, made by hand, does not have to be cardboard. You can surprise your loved ones by making it out of plastic bottles! The original product can be used as a gift wrapping, jewelry box, piggy bank, etc.
It is necessary
- Bottoms from plastic bottles,
- awl,
- candle,
- sharp scissors
- beads,
- beads,
- ribbon or decorative cord,
- stained glass paints,
- varnish (can be used for nails),

Instructions
Step 1
You will first need two bottles of similar size. It is necessary to cut the bottom equally from them. To combine two bottoms, you need to light a candle, heat the awl and make holes along the edges of the bottoms at regular intervals.
Step 2
Now the edges can be crocheted. You will need ribbons, decorative laces, etc. They should be crocheted through the holes in the first bottom and, having thus reached almost the end, take the second half of the box and connect the two bottoms with a cord. Then you need to tie the ends and continue to braid the second part. After completing the next circle, it is worth tying the ends of the cord again, trimming off the excess and singing the material a little so that the cord or ribbon does not bloom.
Step 3
The next step is to make the ties. With a heated awl, you need to punch two holes in each part at the places for connection. In the first part, laces should be threaded and tied. With the second, you should do the same.
Step 4
The ends of the ties can be decorated with beads. To do this, you need to thread the bead, tie knots on both sides of the bead and cut off all excess.
Step 5
The final stage is the decoration of the box itself.
The bottle box can be painted with stained glass paints or varnished.
You can glue decorative elements.
You can again punch holes with an awl, now on the surface of the bottle bottoms, and pass colored wire through them. There is a more complicated, but very interesting option: to decorate the box made from the bottoms of the bottles with similar bottle flowers. To do this, you need the bottom of a small opaque bottle (for example, from kefir). Ovals or circles must be cut out of it; they will be concave - they are petals. Above the fire, you should give them a suitable shape, bending around the edges with tweezers, and twist one of the ovals into a spiral (it will fit in the middle of the flower, and the rest of the petals will need to be glued to it).
