Used car tires are quite often used in the design of playgrounds or in the design of garden areas. Indeed, a tire that has served its time can perfectly perform the function of a flower bed. When building a flower garden, you can move away from traditional forms if you unscrew the tire. This flowerbed looks very original.

Step 1
Prepare the tire and all necessary materials. From the tools you will need a sharpened boot knife and an angle grinder. For the manufacture of flower beds, it is better to take an imported tire. Unlike domestic tires, imported ones are much more elastic, so it is easier to turn them out.
Step 2
Use a boot knife to cut the tire along the centerline of its working surface. To make the future flower garden more attractive, you can cut your workpiece not in the longitudinal direction, but in a zigzag pattern. This way you can get beautiful triangular petals. But you can easily supplement the tire with curly slots after the main trim. Choose the option that seems less time consuming to you.
Step 3
To work faster, periodically moisten the knife in soapy water. Cut the tire until the knife touches the metal cord. To make it easier to turn the tire out, cut the cord with metal scissors or an angle grinder. The latter option will significantly speed up the work.
Step 4
Make cuts in the metal cord at a distance of about 15 cm from each other. Carefully insert the blade into the tire and press down on the tool until sparks emerge from under the blade.
Step 5
When all the tire trimming work is completed, proceed with the actual tire unscrewing. Turn the product in small parts, gradually increasing the released surface of the tire. This work is very laborious, requiring patience and accuracy. When the tire is turned out about halfway, try applying more force and turning it out completely.
Step 6
After completing the process, inspect your creation. As a result, you should get a kind of deep bowl with a wider top, framed by triangular petals. Now paint this bowl with a suitable color paint and set it in the place of your choice as a flower garden.
