Is a lady organic?

Svetlana Kushnir, (the real name of the singer), was born in Mongolia, in the city of Darkhan in 1962, on March 22. Svetlana did rhythmic gymnastics as a child. And she loved music very much. Soon, Svetlana became a candidate for master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics, while she did not give up music.

Career

In one of her interviews, Svetlana mentioned that the pseudonym was not chosen randomly: “I have a low timbre of voice, and besides, at that time the Tekhnologiya and Bioconstructor groups were very popular, perhaps these factors pushed him to such a pseudonym. Over the years, I understand that he got to the point: Organic Lady is completely about me."

The psephdonym was chosen by the composer Andrey Misailov. In 1989, he wrote the song "Echo of the Universe" for the singer and later, together with Mosfilm, released a video. Organic Lady released her first album in 1991 under the title "White City", on cassettes. Her career began to develop rapidly and a year later the singer held four solo concerts in the St. Petersburg Big Concert Hall "Oktyabrsky".

In 2005, the fourth album of Organic Lady "This is Love" was released, which included the Russian-language interpretation of the hit Cher "Believe" entitled "Lady Love", several new songs ("Dancing on the Chinese Wall", "Birds Fly away"), as well as remixes Svetlana's own hits of past years. In 2009, the song “My Dream” was recorded in a duet with the Balagan Limited project. In 2011, work began on a new dance style album.

Personal life

In 2000, Svetlana divorced her husband and part-time producer Igor Sorokin. And ended her career. Later in an interview, Kushnir said: "Igor had a difficult character - he was in conflict with the organizers and could not negotiate. Everything did not go the way we wanted. Family is important to me. At that time, my children were growing up: Leonid was 16 years old, Elena "11 years old. We had to devote time to them. They studied at a prestigious school under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs … Soon Igor and I divorced, and that's when life got better."

Creativity and plans

In 2013, Svetlana decided to return. But already without a producer. I started looking for composers and songwriters who would suit my liking. "In this regard, I only stick to my own emotions, if I like it, I sing." - Kushnir quotes. Back in the 90s, the singer was offered to perform the song "My Boy" in English, this is how the composition was originally conceived, it was called Little boy. But Svetlana refused this song, later the song became a stalachite from the singer Svetlana Vladimirskaya.

At the moment, the singer has her own mini-hotel in the Moscow region.

Celebrity through the years

"Honestly, when I decided to return, I was surprised to find out how many people still love and remember me. It turns out that there are many fans, only they have already grown up," the singer shared her opinion.

Years later, the singer admitted that she gravitates towards yoga culture. And she took up the non-commercial project "Mantra", now for the soul.
