Alena Sviridova was born in 1962 in Kerch and was brought up in a military family and a radio host. Over time, the family moved to the Krasnodar Territory, and then to Minsk. There Alena graduated from high school and entered a music and pedagogical university. The girl was actively involved in the vocal studio, performed in the city choir ensemble, having received important stage experience.
Gradually Alena Sviridova began to write and perform her own songs. Some of them were broadcast on the Minsk radio and brought the girl the first fame, but soon the music had to be left for a while: Alena got a job at the local Gorky theater, becoming an actress.
