The hedgehog is a charming forest creature that invariably evokes positive emotions in children and adults. If a decorative hedgehog does not live in your home, which can please the eyes of your children, then you can draw it yourself. Drawing a hedgehog with your child will give you a lot of pleasure if you know the simple technology of drawing this animal. Follow our step by step instructions.
Instructions
Step 1
The body of the hedgehog resembles a pear pointed at one end. Draw a horizontal, oblong oval, and then sharpen one end of it so that you get the outline of the sharp snout upturned.
Step 2
Mark the tip of the nose with a black dot. When painting over the nose, leave a white highlight on it - this will give the hedgehog a realism. Then draw a round eye with a pupil. Paint over the pupil, also leaving a small highlight.
Step 3
Now draw a smiling mouth on the face, and to the right, away from the eye, a rounded ear.
Step 4
Now that the muzzle is ready, draw two front and two hind legs. To make the hedgehog's body look like a real one, draw needles for him with clear strokes, diverging in different directions around the body.
Step 5
First, draw one even row of needles, then continue to draw rows of needles of different lengths and directions to cover the entire body of the hedgehog with thorns.
Step 6
After the drawing of the needles is finished, and the hedgehog is covered with thorns, draw short antennae on the nose for it.
Step 7
Color your hedgehog - paint the torso with the muzzle brown, the nose black, and the paws gray.
Step 8
Leave the needles dark, but you can add light strokes to the needles if you like. The thicker the needles are, the more voluminous and more beautiful the hedgehog will be. Draw an apple or a mushroom on the back of the hedgehog, if desired.
Step 9
Drawing a hedgehog will not take much of your time and effort, and the technology is available even for a small child. You can either draw and color a hedgehog on paper, or easily complete a drawing in any graphics editor - from Paintbrush to Adobe Photoshop.
