Knitted products are decorated with embossed and openwork patterns, they are made with appliqués from different materials. You can even link the lettering on the canvas. To do this, you will need to learn the jacquard technique. If you like to embroider, then this kind of needlework will also help you "write" with knitting needles and threads.

Instructions
Step 1
Draw a diagram of the future knitted inscription on a checkered notebook sheet. Each cell will equal one knit stitch. For clarity, paint the "mosaic" letters with a colored felt-tip pen - the colored cells will form the inscription, and the non-colored ones will mean the loops of the knitted background.
Step 2
Match two different colored woolen threads of the same thickness. Place two balls in plastic bags and tie them up; you can also use special "eggs" for knitting multi-color jacquard patterns. In order to neatly tie the inscription, it is necessary to exclude tangling of multi-colored threads.
Step 3
Knit several rows of knit stitch with one thread (for example, white yarn). Having knitted the last purl row, turn the knitting over - you should always introduce a thread of a different color only from the "face" of the work.
Step 4
Start knitting the inscription, constantly referring to the drawn pattern. Work very carefully, as a mistake even in one loop will ruin the whole picture, and you will have to dissolve the knitted fabric and do it all over again. On the front side of the work, the colors should clearly blend into one another; non-working threads are stretched from the inside out. It is important that they do not hang too loosely, but very tight constrictions should not form. To make the inscription clearly visible, "draw" the letters in columns three loops or more thick.
Step 5
Try another way to create a knitted lettering. Tie the product with a simple front satin stitch and try to embroider letters on it with colored thread. Stick to the same pattern as for the jacquard technique. In this case, each cell colored with a felt-tip pen will be equal to one embroidery loop.
Step 6
Attach the colored thread to the wrong side of the work and bring the needle and thread to the right side through the middle of the buttonhole. Then proceed like this:
- bring the needle under both half-loops of the upper row (of the same column) and pull the thread;
- bring the needle to the wrong side of the knitted fabric. It must exit from the same point from which it originally entered.
You will have a beautiful embroidered buttonhole that mimics the knitted buttonhole. Continue sewing the rest of the lettering in the same way.
