A car made of cardboard, depending on the selected blank size, can not only decorate a bookshelf, but also become a favorite toy for a child.
It is necessary
- - cardboard
- - paints
- - knife
- - scissors
- - glue
- - tablet
Instructions
Step 1
On the internet or in a car modeling magazine, find and print, at the correct size, a template for creating a paper car model. Transfer the template onto the cardboard using carbon paper. To do this, place it under the sheet with the drawing and, so that they do not move, fix it with paper clips. Use a compass needle or other sharp object to translate the sweeps. Carefully cut out each piece along the contour with scissors.
Step 2
To simplify the car manufacturing process and prevent distortions that occur during gluing, assemble the model, having previously compiled two main parts: the chassis and the body. Typically, the flat pattern indicates the parts that need to be connected first.
Step 3
Start assembly from the body. Bend the cut part appropriately. Bend the flaps at a right angle. Apply glue to them in a thin layer. Glue together the sidewalls, roof, front and rear of the car that form the body.
Step 4
Don't worry about the shakiness of the structure, the assembly will become stiffer after attaching the chassis, which is based on two assemblies of the rear and front axles, which are glued separately. To create the axes, use wooden sticks, carved from spruce or pine planks. The shape of the sticks should be round in cross section. Place the axles tightly with glue in the holes of the box assemblies.
Step 5
Glue the wheels and fit them tightly with glue on the axle. Assemble the chassis and body. To do this, coat the mating surfaces with a thin layer of glue and connect them. Before the glue finally sets, carefully examine the structure for irregularities and distortions.
Step 6
Then start finishing. Sequentially, part by part, glue the bumpers, signal lights, door handles and wipers. Paint your car.
