Electronic cigarettes (ES) are only superficially similar to ordinary ones, differing in many respects from them. Therefore, it is necessary to smoke ES in a special way, because it is a whole mechanism, and quite fragile and capricious. But if the mechanism is handled with care, it will work for a very long time. Follow these simple guidelines to help you extend the life of your cigarette and get the most out of the smoking process.
Instructions
Step 1
Do not tighten too much so that the ES does not emit an extraneous whistle or hiss. Adjust the strength of your puff so that your cigarette stops emitting extraneous sounds. Long puffs of 3-4 seconds allow more smoke to be inhaled. Remember that the amount of smoke depends not on the strength, but on the duration of the puff.
Step 2
Small pauses of 4-5 seconds should be made between puffs. The main component of the ES is an atomizer - a miniature heating element. When heated, it evaporates the liquid from the cartridge, which is then inhaled by the smoker. It is this unit that is the most vulnerable part of the ES. If you smoke too much without resting the atomizer, it can burn out.
Step 3
Do not smoke too often and do not take several puffs in a row - the cartridge may run out prematurely. This occurs, as a rule, from the drying out of the part of the cartridge in contact with the atomizer, as a result of which the liquid simply does not reach the atomizer. The cartridge will usually rebuild itself. One has only to leave it to lie down for a few hours, so that the liquid is distributed inside the cartridge.
Step 4
After you install a new cartridge instead of an empty one, the atomizer should also be left to lie down so that the liquid is evenly distributed inside. A dry atomizer produces little or no smoke.
Step 5
When you replace an old cartridge for a cartridge with a different nicotine level or flavor, keep in mind the fact that a small amount of liquid remains in the atomizer. Mixing liquid from a new cartridge and from an atomizer can negatively affect the taste of the smoke. To minimize mixing of liquids, tighten a few times with the cartridge removed, and then insert a new cartridge. Special gourmets may even use several separate atomizers at once for different tastes.
