A snake is a flexible and creeping creature, so it is sometimes very difficult to finish drawing it. Decide for yourself what moment of the stormy snake life you want to capture the snake and get to work. For example, your snake can quietly crawl about its business. Or curl up in threatening rings, preparing to jump. Maybe she is resting after eating, hugging closely with some baobab. The basis for the image of a snake in any pose is a line curved in several places. How much coiled and writhing snake you want is up to you.

It is necessary

A simple pencil, eraser, 1-2 sheets of white paper

Instructions

Step 1

In order not to deprive the snake of the opportunity to be capricious, choosing the most comfortable pose, draw it as long as possible, using the entire space of the album sheet.

Start from the right side at the top. Almost without lifting the pencil from the surface, draw a winding line - long, tangled, with "dead loops". Finish it somewhere in the lower left part of the sheet. The more rings you draw, the more impressive the snake will be.

Step 2

Now go back to the beginning and start drawing another line parallel to the first. Maintain a distance of about 1 cm between the two lines, slightly increasing it on "turns". Only at the very end, connect the lines at one point, forming a tail.

Step 3

Erase the extra strokes with an eraser that visually cut the snake into pieces.

Step 4

Go back to the beginning again and connect your parallel lines there with an arc to make the head.

Step 5

Draw the eye and the serpentine forked tongue.

Step 6

Decorate the snake skin with chic ornaments and color it in with crayons. The skin pattern can be very diverse - spots, multi-colored circles, stripes, triangles. And the main background is possible as your heart desires - from green and yellow to gray-brown-crimson speckled. Your snake is now ready.
