A decorated Christmas tree is rightfully considered one of the main attributes of the New Year and Christmas holidays. However, if for some reason the green beauty cannot become a decoration of the house, it can be replaced with a Christmas tree made from a variety of materials at hand.
It is necessary
- - cardboard or thick paper;
- - tinsel;
- - glue;
- - table napkins;
- - the cloth;
- - various decorations (beads, rhinestones, etc.).
Instructions
Step 1
If you need to whip up a Christmas tree to decorate a festive table with it, cut out a semicircle from cardboard, bend it and glue it in the shape of a cone. Then take colored table napkins, cut off their bottom edge with a zigzag. Next, in layers from bottom to top (3-4 layers will be enough), glue the napkins with the upper edge to the cone. Decorate the top of the Christmas tree with a bead or a small asterisk, and along the perimeter, if you wish, you can decorate it with small paper flowers in contrasting shades.
Step 2
Making a Christmas tree from cardboard and tinsel will be no more time-consuming process. For its base, as in the previous version, it is necessary to make a base from cardboard in the form of an elongated cone or pyramid (to make a pyramid, cut 4 triangles and glue them with tape or paper strips). Then you can start fixing the tinsel.
Step 3
Depending on how it is more convenient for you, you can take a brush and spread the whole base with glue, and then wind tinsel in turns from top to bottom, or you can glue the tinsel only at the beginning of each turn. When the product is dry, you can start decorating it. For example, you can decorate the Christmas tree with satin ribbon bows, beads, small cones and miniature Christmas tree decorations, or small decorations made by yourself.
Step 4
You can also try making a Christmas tree from fabric. To do this, make a cardboard base, and then cut out the base for the covering according to its size (for example, a corduroy Christmas tree will look good). Further in the vertical direction, make cuts at a distance of about 1.5 cm. After that, cut strips of bright fabric (in this case, tapestry and drape fabric will look good) 0.5 cm thick and use tweezers to insert them between the strips of the base fabric (make it is necessary in a checkerboard pattern, as when weaving baskets).
Step 5
In order for these strips to hold well, they must be fixed approximately in the center of the fabric and at the ends with glue. After that, the fabric must be glued to the base of the Christmas tree. You should not overload such a Christmas tree with unnecessary decor, but you can decorate it with a thread or cord of golden or silver color.
