How to make a house for a cat from a T-shirt and two wire hangers in 5 minutes, a palm tree from plastic bottles, toys from socks and tights (hare, snake).
Garbage disposal is a global problem. After all, every day people throw out various rubbish in large quantities. But in vain. Empty plastic containers, old clothes, old furniture may still come in handy.
Palm from plastic bottles
If you have a summer cottage, be sure to make such a tropical tree. It will delight not only in summer, but all year round. Then, even in winter, in late autumn, your site will be picturesque. You can create more than one palm tree, but several, thus turning a summer cottage corner into a tropical paradise.
Then you will create birds, animals from the same container, then you will have full-fledged tropics.
To make a palm tree from plastic bottles, take:
- brown bottles;
- scissors;
- green plastic bottles;
- metal rod from reinforcement of the required length.
Remove labels from all bottles. If the stickers won't remove, then place the bottles in a bowl of warm water for a while. Then you can remove the labels with a sponge or use a metal dish brush.
Take the washed, dried brown bottles. Cut the bottom from each in such a way that the bottom turns out to be a zigzag, like an element of the trunk of a palm tree.
Now take the green bottles. Cut off the bottom of all. Then move the scissors from bottom to top, making three vertical cuts on each bottle, evenly spaced apart. Then for each container you will have a markup for three sheets. Round their bottom sides and cut all edges with a 2 cm wide fringe.
Stick a twig into the soil, where the palm tree from plastic bottles will flaunt. Now start putting on the prepared brown containers here with zigzag notches down. When you get the trunk of the desired height, string the leaves from the prepared green plastic bottles with the necks up. The latter should cover the tip of the reinforcement. We decorate it with a plastic cork by screwing it onto the top bottle.
Many more things can be made from plastic bottles: flowers, toys, a broom for the street, a scoop, charming boxes, storage containers.
From old clothes
Some also throw away baby items that are too small or clothes that are a little worn out or fed up.
Children's socks make adorable toys. You can stuff the sock with cotton wool or padding polyester, sew on buttons and eyes instead of the nose and mouth, and sew this thing around the elastic. You will get a snake. And if you then pull the place of the heel with a thread to form a head, sew on long ears and a round tail from fabric, you will get a bunny.
It is interesting to make a snake out of tights, which you also intended to throw away.
House for the cat
You can sew a lot of new things from old T-shirts, including making a house for a cat. To do this, take two regular wire hangers, straighten them and create the frame of a small tent by piercing a sheet of cardboard with metal elements. Then just pull the T-shirt on top. The result is an amazing home for a pet. It will go into the house near the neck of the T-shirt.
