Counter Strike is one of the most popular online games in recent years. Counter Strike regularly hosts championships and competitions in which people of different ages participate. Learning to play CS is as easy as shelling pears.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the distribution of the game and install it on your computer. The system requirements for Counter Strike are very low, and a machine with 512 megabytes of RAM, 64 megabytes of video memory and a processor with a frequency of 1 gigahertz or more will do just fine for the game. To play on the Internet, you need a stable connection with a speed of 128 kilobits per second. The distribution kit of the game can be either paid or free. The latter differs in that it will not be possible to play on all servers.
Step 2
Start the game and first go to the game options (Options). Set in the options the most convenient keyboard control settings, mouse sensitivity, and adjust video and audio configurations. If your computer has enough power, then feel free to set the visual and audio parameters to the maximum. After that, you can start the game.
Step 3
If you plan to start the game over the Internet or LAN, click the Find servers button. When playing on the Internet, you should see a huge list of servers available for the game. Servers can be filtered by setting the values of the map, ping and game security. After filtering, go to the server you like by double-clicking on it. Wait for the game to load.
Step 4
After loading, the game should appear on the screen. First, select the team you want to play for (Terrorists or Counter-Terrorists), then find out how many people are playing on your side. At the beginning of the first round, purchase a bulletproof vest and cartridges (or an assault rifle and a bulletproof vest, depending on the starting amount of money) and join the game. You can shoot at opponents by pressing the left mouse button, the player's movement is controlled using the keyboard, and inspection in different directions is done by moving the mouse.
