But this necessary accessory will save your sleep on the road, protect you from the headlights of passing cars, help you not wake up in the summer at five in the morning with the sun, while you are at work by ten. There is only one way out - to sew a sleep mask with your own hands, especially since you can choose the color and pattern yourself. You can make several dressings - each for its own nightie and mood.

Two strips of fabric (one fabric should be pleasant and soft to the touch - for the inner side, the other - according to your taste), elastic band, braid, needles, threads, scissors, beads, pencil, paper
Instructions
Step 1
Take a piece of paper and draw a pattern on it. To simplify the task, you can simply circle your sunglasses along the contour. Remember that the sleeping mask should be wide enough so that it does not slip.
Step 2
Cut out the resulting pattern and apply to pieces of fabric. Circle the pattern along the contour, not forgetting to leave about a centimeter for the seams, and now cut it out of the fabric.
Step 3
So, you have got the blanks for your bandage. Fold the patterns right-side in and sew, leaving slits on the sides where you will later insert the elastic.
Step 4
After the mask is sewn, turn it right side out. Sew on the elastic, remembering that the bandage should not fall off in a dream, but the elastic should not press on you either - this way you will not fall asleep at all.
Step 5
Now it's up to the decoration. Take the braid and sew the bandage over it. Beads and beads can be used to embroider a pattern. In general, let your imagination run wild!
