Knitting from gauze or other thin materials is very popular because it allows you to create an unusual, exclusive product. You can knit a bag, jacket, cardigan, vest from gauze - any thing will be interesting and memorable. However, in order to get a high-quality product that will not stretch during the first wash and will not climb, it is necessary to follow a certain technology.

Instructions
Step 1
Take regular bleached gauze, you can buy a medical one at the pharmacy. A yellowish regular gauze can also be used, but consider this shade when coloring to get the desired result. The bandage is often cut unevenly, in addition, the cut edge will spill out, so take it only as a last resort.
Step 2
Find the shared thread in the fabric and, measuring 6-7 cm apart, make cuts around the edge. Taking the edge of the fabric to the left and right of the cut in your hands, pull it forcefully in different directions. As a result, the gauze should break along the lobar thread.
Step 3
If you plan to mix gauze thread with regular thread, make the stripes narrower, it will be easier to knit and the thing will become more durable. Stripes that are too wide will make the fabric rougher, and thin stripes can break if not accompanied by additional thread.
Step 4
After tearing off the first strip, fold it into a ball. Tear off the next strip and immediately sew the beginning to the end of the previous one with a couple of stitches of white cotton thread. You can pull the thread out of the gauze, so you will be sure that it will be colored in the same way as the product itself (unlike, for example, polyester threads, which may not be colored at all).
Step 5
When the ball is ready, pick up a good sturdy knitting needle. Ordinary thin knitting needles will not work, you need a thick (at least 7-8 mm in diameter) rigid tool.
Step 6
Knit as usual, you can even use a regular satin stitch - the threads will subsequently fluff up and give the product an interesting look. Sew the parts together with cotton thread, and not with a cut strip, so as not to get rough.
Step 7
After the gauze garment is knitted, tint it with any fabric dye and wash it in the washing machine or by hand. As a result, the gauze strips will get loose and give the thing a unique chic.
