Electromechanical sewing machines are the simplest and most inexpensive. Computerized ones are more expensive, but they also have much more capabilities. If you do not plan to sew extremely complex items, you can choose a sewing machine designed for performing the simplest operations (zigzag, straight stitch, semi-automatic buttonhole). A machine with a wide selection of operations will cost a little more - for example, one that implies the execution of decorative and knitted stitches. Almost all modern sewing machines are also capable of overlocking functions. Usually, a sewing machine is equipped with a set of needles, oil for lubrication, different types of feet (for example, for a blind seam or for sewing on a zipper). Care for all models of sewing machines is extremely simple - they need to be lubricated extremely rarely (silicone grease is designed for five years), cleaning is carried out in special service centers. In any case, it is best to buy a sewing machine in a specialized store, where you can talk with a qualified consultant and test the sewing machine on the spot.
