Crocheting is a popular hobby that attracts with its affordability and simplicity. One of the most interesting crochet ideas is knitting fruit. Crocheted figures look original and beautiful, they can serve both as an ornament for children's clothing and as an element of interior decoration.

Instructions
Step 1
Start your crocheted fruit with a banana. Tie the first loop and start knitting the first row. To do this, you need to knit a ring in 4 single crochets. The second row is knitted with an increase in the column for each loop, i.e. you should have 8 single crochets in the second row.
Step 2
Tie the third row, making increases in the loops through one, i.e. knit one loop without increasing, and in the second knit 2 single crochet. Thus, you will have 12 columns. Work the next 20 rows (rows 4 to 24) in a spiral, without extra stitches. Thus, in each row you will have stable 12 single crochets.
Step 3
Start decreasing stitches in the 25th row. That is, the row is knitted through one loop (one loop is knitted, the next is skipped, then knitted again, and so on). The result is 8 single crochet. Stuff the resulting shape with padding polyester without cutting the threads or pulling the hook out of the loop.
Step 4
Tie row 26 without making any subtractions. You will have 8 columns. Knit the next row, making a decrease by 1 loop through the column. There will be 4 columns. Now pull off all the loops and carefully hide the threads inside the banana. Be careful not to accidentally pull the filler out of the toy.
Step 5
If you are knitting fruit with leaves, tie 4 loops, wrap them in a ring, then knit 6 double crochets in the ring, cast on 3 inner loops and wrap them in a picot with an adjacent column at the top of the last double crochet. Tie 6 more double crochets. Connect the last column to the first. You will get a simple and neat sheet. Leaves for any fruits and vegetables are knitted according to the same principle.
Step 6
Knit other fruits and vegetables in the same way, counting the number of loops in the main part of your toy. This is done by eye, it all depends on the size and shape of the fruit that you are knitting.
