A kitchen is the same room as any other, so it can and should be decorated with all kinds of accessories and crafts. For example, you can make a hanger for your kitchen with your own hands.
It is necessary
- - furniture board;
- - acrylic paints;
- - a piece of wide cotton lace;
- - PVA glue;
- - self-tapping screws with hooks - 4 pcs;
- - fasteners;
- - jigsaw;
- - emery bar;
- - awl;
- - pencil.
Instructions
Step 1
It is necessary to make a blank for the future hanger from a thick furniture board. The shape of the product depends on your desire. After it is ready, you need to process all its edges with emery. Then paint over the workpiece. Let it dry completely. Sand the painted surface. This will give the base of the hanger a shabby look.
Step 2
Now you need to apply white paint to the worn base of the hanger. This should be done so that it unevenly covers the first layer of paint.
Step 3
With a pencil, you need to draw a line that will indicate the width of the lace strip. Draw or circle a milk jug with a cup over the drawn strip, and then color them.
Step 4
It's lace time. Glue a wide lace strip along the drawn contour along the entire perimeter of our craft using PVA glue.
Step 5
Then hooks for the hanger should be made. Screw self-tapping screws with hooks into the lower end of the product so that they are certainly at the same distance.
Step 6
In order for the product to be hung, you need to fix special hanging elements on the back of the craft. The original kitchen hanger is ready!
