Step 1
Most locks are opened after solving some puzzle. So, in one of the first rooms of the game, the button near the door will be inactive: you will need to rummage in the nearby toilet and find a fuse to insert it into the switch. Often a coded lock is installed near the exit - the password for it can be found by carefully examining the environment (in the first room - toilet cubicles, in one of the following - the time on the wall clock).
Step 2
In almost half of the cases, locks are opened with a key. You can find him in the most unexpected places, but there is always a hint for this. Search the corpses of each killed enemy and study all the inscriptions that you find. So, in one of the rooms you can read that "Faulkner has the key" - you will find it in the morgue. You will need a scalpel.
Step 3
Throughout the game, you can open some of the locked locks with a nail. This mini-puzzle is solved by rotating several discs in succession. In this case, the elements of neighboring disks must coincide with each other (ie, at the "joints" there will always be a pair of identical icons). In general, a simple serial comparison is the best solution.
Step 4
Some locks are traps. They are realized with the help of mini-games on the principle of "push-in-time-the-button". As soon as you click on the action button, the time will slow down a little and the action key you need will be displayed on the screen. If you fail to complete the specified command, you will die or lose some HP.
Step 5
In the "climax" rooms of each chapter, you will directly participate in the Jigsaw torture in order to open the door. Technically, this is the same set of puzzles, only more difficult and limited not only by time, but also by the pain threshold of the “participants”. Keep an eye on both scales and take your time - the control point will usually knock you close.
