One of the strongest hobbies of a real man is winter fishing. A true fisherman is able to sit for a long time on the ice of the lake, despite the wind, frost and lack of bites. But the passion and desire to catch a large fish is not enough for success, you need good tackle and the ability to use it. For example, it is important to know how to properly tie a winter lure.

Fishing line, steel lead, spinner, knife

Instructions

Step 1

Choose the method of lure attachment depending on the fishing conditions. There are several ways to attach a winter lure to the line:

- tie the spoon directly to the line;

- tie the lure to the leash, which, in turn, tie to the fishing line;

- tie the spoon to the ring (lock).

Step 2

Tie a regular knot at the end of the line. Then thread the fishing line twice into the hole of the spoon (lock ring) and overwhelm with an ordinary knot. Tighten the resulting knot so that the knot at the end of the line is tightly pulled up to the common tie. Cut off the remaining bunk, leaving about 3 mm. The given knot has the necessary qualities, it does not weaken the line, does not slip out and does not untie spontaneously.

Step 3

If you intend to tie the lure with a loop, then keep in mind that the knot on the line weakens it significantly. In addition, the double line with a knot near the lure itself makes it visible to fish. The resistance increases and the spinner game is weakened.

Step 4

The lure, tied directly to the line, transfers all its movements to it, so the vibrations of the spinner will meet a certain resistance, the strength of which will depend on the thickness of the line and its elasticity.

Step 5

Tie a metal (steel) leash only in cases where fishing is supposed to be in a pond where a lot of pike live. The lure, attached to a steel leader, has the advantage of being lowered in depth. The leash, connected to the lure, forms a loop in which the lure walks very freely - the oscillatory motion of the lure is not transmitted to the leash.
