The famous "Grushinka", "Grusha" - the annual festival of bard songs has a completely official name: the All-Russian festival of author's songs named after Valery Grushin. It is held on the first weekend of July near Samara and annually gathers tens of thousands of fans to sit by the fire and listen to songs with a guitar. Anyone can become a participant of the Grushinsky festival.
In the event that you want to perform with your songs at common concert venues, you must notify the organizers of the festival about this. You will have to audition before being assigned a concert number. Preliminary auditions are organized by the Grushinsky club in Samara, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To do this, you need to appear at the address: Samara, st. Samarskaya 172 from 18-00 to 19-00. Nonresident participants will be auditioned directly on site, upon arrival at the festival.
In the event that you are already an honored author or performer, a laureate of any competitions of author's and bardic songs, your number will be put into a concert without preliminary listening. It will also be enough for the invited participants of the festival to simply apply for participation in the concert.
Regardless of whether you write songs, perform them or just love listening to bards, you can take part in the Grushinsky festival on your own or with friends. Many of its participants have been coming here for many years and come to Grushinskaya Polyana in advance to create and equip their own camp, on the territory of which tents, awnings and tables are set up.
If you are a loner, then a tent, rug and sleeping bag will be enough for you for a comfortable stay. If you wish, you can always join any camp, becoming its full-fledged resident and performing general work on cleaning its territory and preparing food.
Since more than 200 thousand people take part in the festival, the issue of cleanliness and ecology is quite acute there. If you are traveling in a group, take care of arranging your own sanitary and hygienic unit. Many manufacturers offer special sanitary tents for this, which will serve as your toilet room.
Since 2012, the organizing committee of the festival began to cooperate with the environmental organization "Russian Green League", whose volunteers will monitor the cleanliness and conduct an educational environmental program with the participants.
