It is necessary

  • - gypsum;
  • - forms for crayons;
  • - petroleum jelly;
  • - disposable cups;
  • - stick;
  • - colored dyes;
  • - form holder.

Instructions

Step 1

First you need to grease the molds with petroleum jelly. They can be anything, even eggs from kinder surprises. By the way, if you choose just such a shape, then keep in mind that a holder is needed for it, because the egg will not stand still when gypsum is poured into it. Such a holder can be a simple egg carton.

Step 2

Now we put the molds greased with Vaseline in our holder. Then we take a glass. It must be filled with half plaster and 1/4 water. Then everything needs to be mixed with a stick so that a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Step 3

As for staining, for this, tempera or food coloring should be added to the resulting plaster mass. You can even try using gouache for these purposes if the above is not at hand. Pour in as much dye as needed to achieve the desired color.

Step 4

After the desired color has been obtained, we begin to pour the plaster mass into previously prepared forms. If you like, you can make two-tone crayons. To do this, you just need to pour one color into one half of the kinder, and another color into the second. After 5 minutes have passed after pouring the plaster into the mold, it will begin to harden a little. This is the best moment to combine 2 colors into one. Press the two halves of the kinder tightly together. It's easy to make sure they stick together - just shake the egg. Let the crayons stand one night and that's it! They will be ready to paint! Good luck!
