Varvara Sergeevna Vizbor is a Russian singer with her own unique style. The granddaughter of the famous bard Yuri Vizbor and the poet Ada Yakusheva. She chose her own, unlike others, path in music, often performing at concerts famous songs of the last century in a new arrangement, not being afraid to experiment with styles.

The future singer was born in the winter of 1986. Creativity and music entered the life of Barbara from the very birth, because most of her family and friends belonged to people of art.
Varvara's great-grandmother, Anita Vizborene, was an opera singer and prima donna theater in Riga. They said that she sang with Chaliapin himself. The surname Vizbor came from my great-grandfather. In Lithuanian, she sounded like Vizboras, but later her great-grandfather shortened it and began to bear the name Vizbor.
Grandfather - Yuri Vizbor, was a famous performer of author's songs, theater and film actor, journalist and musician. He gained immense popularity during the existence of the USSR. But even now Vizbor's songs are heard at all festivals of author's songs, in television and radio programs.
Unfortunately, Varvara did not personally know her grandfather. He passed away two years before her birth. But she began listening to his songs when she was still very young and still loves them very much, she performs at her concerts.
Grandmother - Ada Yakusheva, was a poet, writer, journalist, editor at the Yunost radio station. She, like her husband Yuri, performed her own songs with a guitar, performing at concerts in front of lovers of bard songs. Many family friends said that the granddaughter from early childhood was literally a copy of her grandmother.
The girl's mom is also a creative person. She works as a journalist. But the father has nothing to do with creative professions. He is an economist. Varvara also has a younger brother named Yuri. He bears the name of his father - Lobikov. The girl in childhood was also recorded as Lobikova, but later, by the decision of all relatives, she changed her surname to Vizbor.
During her school years, Varya began to study music and showed amazing acting talent. Noticing this, the parents decided to send their daughter to a theater studio.
After receiving secondary education, Varvara went to enter VGIK, but did not pass the competition. Only a year later she managed to become a student at the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute.
After receiving her diploma, Vizbor decided to stay at the institute as a teacher. Having worked for about two years at the department, she realized that it was not enough for her to be within the walls of the university. The girl was attracted by creativity. Then she decided to start performing on the stage.
Creative way
Vizbor began her creative career at the School of Contemporary Play theater. It seemed to her that she would be able to realize her talent on stage. But, having got to the theater, I soon realized that the actors are rather limited in their abilities and cannot always show what they are really capable of. She lacked music, songs and self-expression.
At one of the performances, Vizbor made an unsuccessful jump. As a result, she was diagnosed with a fracture. Then the actress firmly decided that it was time to end this theatrical experiment and look for other possibilities.
Having recovered from the injury, Varvara decided to try herself as an actress in a completely different theater and this time she was not mistaken. She was accepted into the troupe "Teatrium on Serpukhovka under the direction of T. Durova." The performances, in which Vizbor participated, were filled with music, dance, dynamics and freedom. She played in several musical productions, the best of which she considers "The Flying Ship", where she played the role of Princess Fun.
But in this theater, Vizbor could not resist, finally making sure that she did not want to perform on stage as an actress. She liked to sing. The girl decided to devote her future life to music and song.
In 2010, Varvara began performing as a member of the Vizbor V. S. Khutas ". Five years later, her first solo album, entitled "Strawberries", was released. After that, the singer decided to take part in the "Voice" project.
Much to the dismay of her fans, Vizbor did not make it to the show. She did not pass blind auditions: none of the mentors turned to her. However, the audience was delighted with her performance. The singer's failure in the competition turned into immense popularity in real life. The singer was able to declare herself to the whole country and demonstrate her outstanding performing talent.
