It is necessary

  • - beads;
  • - shells;
  • - decorative cord;
  • - decorative braid;
  • - wire;
  • - plastic bottle;
  • - hand drill;
  • - nippers;
  • - glue "Super Moment";
  • - adhesive tape.

Instructions

Step 1

An easy-to-make, but effective bracelet can be obtained by stringing large beads on a thin decorative cord. Fold a piece of cord in half and make a knot a short distance from the fold to form a loop. The size of the loop should be large enough to thread the largest bead through it, which will serve as the clasp of the bracelet.

Step 2

String the beads onto a double-folded string. If there is not enough material for the bracelet, you can tighten a knot on the cord after each bead.

Step 3

After filling the beads with a length sufficient to wrap around the wrist, fix the components of the bracelet by tightening a knot on the cord and adding a large bead or button after it, which will serve as a clasp. Secure the last piece of the bracelet with another knot and cut the remaining cord.

Step 4

To make a bracelet, beads can be alternated with medium-sized shells. To punch holes in this material, tape the shell to a wooden cutting board. Using a hand drill with a drill about 2 mm in diameter, drill a hole in the shell through the duct tape.

Step 5

If you want to make a piece of jewelry that retains its shape, use memory wire. Separate the required number of turns from the coil with pliers and treat one of the ends of the wire with glue. String a few beads over this area.

Step 6

Slip the remaining beads over the wire. To prevent the bracelet from scattering, process its end in the same way as the beginning: apply glue to the wire and place several beads on it.

Step 7

You can use a piece of clear plastic cut from the bottle as a rigid base for the bracelet. Join the plastic strip into a ring and secure the edges with duct tape.

Step 8

Decorate the outside of the bracelet with wide decorative braid or a strip of patterned fabric. You will need a piece of tape that is longer than the circumference of the bracelet by the seam allowance. Stitch the ends of the fabric tape to form a ring and pull it over the plastic base.

Step 9

In the same way, make a lining that will fit on the inside of the bracelet. Use tailor's pins to pin both layers through the plastic to prevent the fabric from shifting when finishing the edges.

Step 10

Trim the edges of the bracelet with a buttonhole stitch, piercing the top decorative layer, plastic and lining.
