Making some kind of thing with your own hands is not so difficult. The main thing is the desire to create and learn new things. For example, it's pretty easy to sew a backpack yourself.
It is necessary
Thick fabric, sewing accessories, accessories, finishing materials, Velcro tape (5 cm), eyelets (4pcs), bias tape (2 m), lace (30 cm), a small piece of non-woven fabric
Instructions
Step 1
First, gather all the materials you need. It is advisable to choose a fabric that is thick enough to keep the backpack in shape. You can sew a backpack, for example, from old jeans.
Step 2
Cut out all the necessary details: an oval piece for the bottom (20x12 cm), two rectangular pieces (30x25 cm), a square for a pocket (15x15 cm), two straps (54x4 cm), a flap (20x10 cm), a piece for a handle (20x3 cm) … Please note that seam allowances have already been taken into account in the specified dimensions of the parts.
Step 3
Overlock or zigzag the edges of all cut pieces.
Step 4
Sew all the pieces in the following order. Tape the edges of the pocket. Sew it onto the front of the rectangle. Next, sew the seams on the sides of the main parts, process the top cut with a tape. Also tape the edges of the flap.
Step 5
We proceed to the straps. Fold the straps in the width with the wrong side up. Sew them together, then turn them inside out and iron them. Make the handle in the same way. Glue the bottom with non-woven fabric. Sew the handle, flap and shoulder straps to the upper cut of the back of the backpack. Sew the straps to the lower cut of the same part, and then sew the bottom. The body of the backpack is ready. Only minor improvements remain.
Step 6
Punch two eyelets on both sides. Sew on the lace. Sew Velcro tape on the front of the backpack and on the inside of the valve. In such a simple way, you can sew an original backpack with your own hands, as well as give a second life to your old jeans.
