Socks - socks with a low top - are cozy products that can play the role of house slippers. They can be performed in many ways, of varying degrees of complexity. Novice needlewomen are advised to choose a model without seams on two needles. At first glance, the knitting pattern may seem daunting, but with a little workout, you can cope with it in one evening.

It is necessary

  • - natural wool yarn;
  • - synthetic yarn ("Sock additive");
  • - two straight knitting needles # 4;
  • - hook.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose a thick woolen yarn for knitting; an additional 100% polypropylene thread is recommended for the sole (special "Sock additive"). Take the knitting needles of medium thickness (# 4).

Step 2

Distinguish purl loops from front loops, learn how to make yarn over. Facial: thread at work; the needle enters the upper wall of the loop from left to right; a new thread bow is pulled. Purl: thread before work; the knitting needle is inserted into the loop with a movement towards itself; after grabbing the thread, a loop is pulled from the inside of the fabric. Crochet: the thread is thrown onto the knitting needle, in the next row it is knitted with the purl.

Step 3

Start working on simple knit footprints by shaping a toe. Tie the strip with four rows of 1x1 elastic: alternate the front and back fabrics from the “face”; from the wrong side of the work, knit according to the pattern. With a finished elastic band, wrap the bottom of the lower leg, excluding the back part. This is the top of the track. So, for a foot of size 23, it is enough to dial 20 loops for an elastic band.

Step 4

Divide the canvas in two, mark the middle. Now the knitting will expand, while in the center of the toe there will be a path of two front loops and yarns (they will be designated as holes).

Step 5

The first row of the detail is only purl loops. This is how all subsequent odd rows of the toe should be knitted. Carefully work on the second row: edge (removed untied), front 7; yarn, front and again yarn. This is followed by a pair of front loops and a yarn; front and again yarn. The row ends with 7 front and 1 edge (edge) loops.

Step 6

Continue to expand the fabric of the toe, adding front loops in each even row. So, in the fourth row: edge and 8 front; yarn, 2 knit and yarn; 2 facial, yarn, 2 facial; in the end - the thrown and edging loops.

Step 7

Make an edge in the sixth row and knit already 9 front ones. After them - yarn, 3 facial and yarn; 2 facial, yarn and 3 facial. Finally, yarn over, knit 9 and hem.

Step 8

In the eighth row, after the initial edge, a dozen front ones follow. Then: yarn over, knit 4 and yarn over; 2 front, yarn and 4 front loops. Make the last yarn, knit 10 and hem - the formation of the cape is complete.

Step 9

Knit over the next row. Now you need to lay a strip of canvas in the middle of the part with the front satin stitch - it will become part of the bottom of the track. Attach the "sock additive" to the main working thread and take the hook in your right hand.

Step 10

Knit 16 knit stitches, and knit the next pair of knit stitches together and turn the work over. Use the right knitting needle to remove the thread bow that was formed when knitting the two center front loops of the part together. The working thread should be placed before knitting. Next: purl 3, and the next pair of loops again - together purl.

Step 11

Turn the canvas over; remove the first loop (thread behind knitting). Next - 3 front, and the fourth and fifth loops are knitted together with the front.

Step 12

Continue to knit the sock using patterns 10-11 until you have a finished sock. A small row of front loops remained on the spoke - in front of the sole. Your task is to tie the back of the track. With a crochet hook, you will connect the bottom and sides of the product.

Step 13

Work a row of open stitches on a knitting needle, then on the back row, insert the bar of the hook into the adjacent side braid and pull the working thread. Transfer the resulting loop to a working knitting needle and knit it together with the first purl bottom loop.

Step 14

Turn the knitting over and work according to the pattern of step number 13, only now knit two front loops together. Continue working on the back of the garment by sewing the loops according to the pattern.

Step 15

When the knitted piece rises to the beginning of the elastic (see step # 3), end the fabric with the same rows of elastic and close the loops. Cut the thread and thread to the wrong side of the work. You just need to knit the second track following the pattern of the first one.
