Winter is a consummate artist at painting intricate patterns on glass. Plastic windows do not allow you to fully enjoy the beauty of frosty pictures. And not every time there is an opportunity to admire the painting in a small house, wrapped in a blanket with a cup of tea. What to do? Draw winter patterns on paper.

It is necessary

  • - album sheet;
  • - pencil;
  • - eraser;
  • - paints with brushes.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose gouache paints. They will allow you to make the drawing really give off cold and very well separate the thin needles of the winter pattern.

Step 2

Dilute blue paint with water. With a piece of foam rubber or a wide brush dipped in this paint, go over the entire sheet, depicting the background. Darken the background slightly at the bottom of the picture. At the top, draw a light blue wide stripe. Wait for the background to dry well.

Step 3

Sketch the flowers with needle-like petals in a chaotic manner with a pencil throughout the drawing. Flowers must be of different sizes. Draw the petals unequal too. Draw some with a herringbone, other needles attach only on one side. Also choose different directions and different fluffiness for them, as your fantasy tells you.

Step 4

Take a thin brush and paint the pattern with a dull blue color. Now go over some of the needles with bright white paint. Add more whiteness on the left side and in the center of the picture. Place small circles of light blue and orange on top of the dried white paint. Thus, the effect of the play of transfusion of colors will be created.

Step 5

Draw the winter pattern not with straight strokes, but with curls. Please note that they should be of different sizes and wider than needle patterns. Place them around the entire drawing in a random order, or just around the perimeter of the window, leaving the middle empty. Paint the pattern in the same way as in the previous technique.

Step 6

Draw the winter pattern on the glass more realistically. To do this, select a point that will symbolize the sun. Draw its boundary lines. Now with bright scarlet paint, walk along the outlined contour. Please note that the brush should be slightly moistened with water to wash out the outlines that are difficult to see behind the frosty glass.
