An observant person for a long time tried to record his own experience on paper. The personal archive of observations, events, memories and experiences has long received two names, French and Russian - a journal, otherwise a diary. Since the information contained in it is of interest only to its owner, there are no special requirements for the recording form.

Step 1
The most common form of notation is by date. Write the current date in the fields or on the line to determine the time of the event. For convenience, you can add the place where you are. This is especially true for travelers describing the impression of a city, architectural monument or natural landscape. If you are at home for a long time, such a mark is unlikely to affect the information content of the message.
Step 2
Present events in chronological order. Use simple and understandable words that you can decipher after a long period of time. If you have to use technical terms, keep the clues and transcripts for yourself so that the information can be recovered later.
Step 3
Illustrations are not prohibited. You can sketch what you see yourself, or paste photos. If it is impossible to print the frame instantly, leave some space on the page to paste the frame later. In the blank space, write the name of the frame, the date and location of the shooting. In this case, you will not have to search for a photo that you planned to paste for a long time.
Step 4
The volume of paragraphs and the entire text is not strictly regulated. Write as many lines as needed to fully describe the event, opinion, impression, or idea. Follow only your own common sense and peculiarities of perception. But, as a rule, paragraphs of 3-5 sentences are convenient to read.
