The art of music depends little on talent and to a large extent on hard work. Guitar playing is not an exception, since the key to masterful playing is constancy and concentration.
Instructions
Step 1
Music should be enjoyable, including for the performer. Therefore, when choosing a repertoire for your guitar, focus on your own preferences: classical, rock, jazz, etc. - the main thing is that you like the works that you will play.
Step 2
Exercise every day. It is better to devote a short period of time to classes than to torture yourself to the point of exhaustion once a week. Allocate at least an hour, but spend it only on the game.
Step 3
Learn the pieces in small chunks - one line at a time, four bars each. Bring the selected passage to perfection, do not leave it to those who have not been taught. In music, several types of memory are used at once: motor (fingers), visual (notes in front of the eyes) and auditory. The motive must be imprinted in movement, eyes and sounds. Notes should not sound out of order, but form a single line with a logical development. All strokes must be performed accurately, without distortion. Do not be lazy: if you now make a little effort, henceforth the works of such a plan will be within your reach.
Step 4
Choose works not only by genre, but also by the degree of skill required. They should be a little bit harder than you can play. Gradually, your technique will increase, and any piece will seem easy.
