Summer is the time when you want to be bright and feminine, light and airy. If your wardrobe is not too full of summer clothes and bright colors, but you really want to change your style and become a little more feminine, then we suggest that you sew a summer sundress with your own hands. This does not require any special skills or unlimited experience in sewing. All you need is the right materials and at least some idea of a sewing machine.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a light, light fabric, you can with an ornament or pattern. It is advisable to use natural materials. Synthetics are not welcome in summer clothes, because prevents the body from breathing and feeling comfortable.
Step 2
Take measurements from your figure. Make a pattern, transfer it to paper and cut it out.
Step 3
Use tailor's pins to pin the paper to the fabric. This will prevent the pattern from sliding across the material while you redraw it.
Step 4
If the pattern is fixed well, then you can not even redraw, but simply cut the fabric along the paper contour. Next, sew all the edges of the fabric with a sewing machine.
Step 5
Try to avoid rough seams, but at the same time, do not leave raw cuts that may loosen during wear.
Step 6
Sweep and sew all the details, hem the bottom of the product.
Step 7
If there is no pattern, and there is no time to look for it at all, and there is also no confidence in drawing up the correct pattern on your own, sew a simple summer sundress. Cut 2 rectangular canvases out of the fabric. The length of the canvases should be taken into account, but the width can be arbitrary. You can use a smaller amount of elastic material so that it emphasizes and fits the figure. You can take a little more airy material, letting it fall down in light folds.
Step 8
Sew both fabrics on the sides. Do not forget to hem the bottom with a brooch, beads or a light cape. A beautiful new thing will significantly refresh your image and, undoubtedly, will make passers-by turn at you on the street.
