Instructions
Step 1
The pyramid is based on a polygon. Depending on the number of its sides, the number of pyramid faces will also change. To create a flat pattern of a pyramid with four faces, draw a rectangle or square in the center of the sheet from which you will glue.
Step 2
Divide each side of the rectangle in half. From the center of the side, draw a perpendicular line that will be equal to the height of the face of your pyramid. Draw the same lines on each of the remaining sides of the polygon.
Step 3
Connect the corner of the rectangle to the top point of the line segment you just drew. Repeat this operation for all corners of the polygon. As a result, you will get isosceles triangles, at the base of which the sides of the rectangle lie.
Step 4
To connect the figure into one whole, construct the valves for fastening in the drawing. To do this, draw a strip half a centimeter wide to each side of the triangles.
Step 5
Cut out the reamer and fold it along all the lines you draw. Lubricate the pyramid flaps with glue (PVA or clerical) and tuck them into the layout so that the edges close together. Leave the model to dry for 20-30 minutes.
Step 6
To explain the properties of the pyramid to a student using paper crafts, use paint or felt-tip pens of different colors. For example, you can ask a student to color all equal faces of a shape with one color, its edges with another, and all vertices with a third.
