Diablo III is the sequel to the super popular game. The official release of Diablo 3 in Europe and the United States took place on May 15, and in Russia it happened on June 7. Work on the game lasted for several years, and during this time the developers have created many exciting and dangerous adventures.
As in all previous versions of Diablo, the game takes place in a fantasy world called Sanctuary.
Background
Twenty years have passed since the events described in Diablo II. Few have survived since then, and most of the survivors have gone mad. One of the characters who kept the clarity of mind is Cain Descartes, a companion of the hero from past games.
In the final of the previous game, the angel Tyrael destroyed the Stone of Peace, but since then no one has seen Tyrael, and also did not feel any consequences of the destruction of the great artifact. Whether this was due to the fact that the stone actually remained intact, or the forces of evil lurked in anticipation of the right moment - no one knows. Cain Descartes traveled a lot around the world trying to find Tyrael or mention of him, but to no avail. Finally, he arrives in Tristram, where he observes the fall of a mysterious meteorite, causing a horde of monsters to appear. From this moment, the plot of the game begins to develop.
Villains
It is not known for certain which of the demons the heroes will face during the game. In general, of the four Lesser Evils, two have not yet been presented to our attention: Belial and Azmodan. In Diablo III, the hero will likely meet both of them.
Opening the veil
Act I
The first act of the game takes place in Tristram, or rather, under Tristram, in the dungeons of the monastery. According to a good tradition, at the very beginning it is necessary to save Cain Descartes from the monsters that captivated him.
Act II
At the beginning of the second act, the hero finds himself in Caldea, a city in the Borderlands. We'll have to cross the desert, filled with various monsters, and get to the ruined city of Alcarnum.
Act III
In the third act, the hero travels across the northern steppes and reaches Mount Arreat, where he helps defend the Bastion Fortress from the forces of Hell.
Act IV
The fourth act will be short enough - it is not so much a full-fledged Diablo act as the final battle. Right from Mount Arreat, the hero will go to the world of dark forces, where he will be able to fight Diablo.
