In a burst of inspiration, ingenious ideas, exciting stories and fascinating plots are formed in my head, which deserve to become the basis of a best-selling novel. But the process does not go further than the ideas: the unclear prospects of the future book, the need to devote a lot of time to painstaking work, are frightening. This should not be avoided, because writing brings great satisfaction to creative people, in addition, the work of a talented person is well paid and leads to popularity.
Instructions
Step 1
Create a plot for the novel. It may be a formed thought, so far without details and nuances, but there must be a mystery, a riddle in it. Write down the outline of the storyline in a special notebook or document on the computer. At first, there may be inaccuracies, inconsistencies in it, but as you write, you can remove them. Think about what the ending might be and how the mystery will be resolved. Several endings can be made.
Step 2
Come up with characters for the novel. Give them a certain character, destiny, appearance, habits and features that need to be thought out to the smallest detail so that the characters do not look flat. Write a life story for each. Don't forget about the secondary characters: even if they are not very important for the development of the plot, their thoughtful image will help to make the work deep. You can draw characters to better represent them. Also describe what kind of relationship binds all participants in the events that will be presented in the novel. If you include three timelines - present, past and future - in the description, the book can become more fun.
Step 3
When you have an idea in your head, a plot plan on paper, and each character is completely ready, start writing. The beginning is difficult, so you need to overcome this stage in order to write later easily and without much hesitation. In the process, the plot begins to develop independently, new original ideas come to mind. You just need to regularly re-read what has been written so that there are no disagreements.
Step 4
Creative people have periods of crisis when all thoughts go away and the desire to write disappears. In this case, take a short break, which is better spent in nature. Walk often, preferably alone, so that you can not be distracted and reflect. Take a notebook with you - if you suddenly have an interesting idea, you can write it down. If rest does not help, try to overpower yourself and continue the romance, even if you have no idea what. Just record whatever comes to mind, even the stream of incoherent thoughts. This will put you in a working mood. And if you don't like the resulting passage, rewrite it.
Step 5
Submit your draft novel to dedicated writer services. This will help you find out how readers will perceive your work. When the book is finished, it is difficult to show it to the editors of the publishing house. But close people are not always able to objectively evaluate work.
