For people with a creative nature, happy moments are when inspiration comes to them. Professionals create real art at such moments. But for beginners it is more difficult. They don't know where to start. So, if you are determined to write a fantasy novel, follow the instructions below.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, come up with the environment in which the events will take place. Don't forget that you are writing science fiction, but don't stray too far from "our" world. You can overload the reader with too complex details of the world you have invented, and he is unlikely to be interested in the world that you first need to know. This is the current generation of readers, there is nothing you can do about it.
The best option would be a realistic world (perhaps even our world), a solid knot connected with the world of mysteries unknown to the reader, creatures, events, characters, buildings, cars and other things.
Step 2
After "your" world has been created and thought out to the smallest detail, get close to the events.
Events can be both global, affecting the whole world, and personal, for example, the emotional experiences of the hero. Of course, fiction is characterized by dynamically developing events that affect an entire generation of people / the entire society.
Events, like the world in which they take place, must be something unusual. Otherwise, a fantasy novel will not seem so fantastic.
Step 3
The next step in writing your novel is character creation.
Here you not only can, but also have to show all your imagination. The number and variety of heroes is unlimited. Each of them must have a unique character, manner of speech, lifestyle. Remember that you have to describe all this, so do not spare your energy when thinking over the characters. All your creativity should be involved at this stage.
Step 4
When the three main components are thought out to the smallest detail, begin to merge them together.
Use beautiful literary speech, because you are writing a novel, not a commentary on the Internet. Try to avoid speech mistakes and all kinds of inconsistencies. Use your vocabulary as much as possible.
Reread each chapter after writing. Some writers post these chapters on the Internet in order to see the reaction of potential readers.
The main thing is not to get carried away. Remember to write for the general public, not keep a personal journal.
