In the 15th century, the ring puzzle was very popular in Europe. However, such a thing was not entertainment, but served as a symbol of the union of married couples. The ring fell apart quite easily, and reassembling it was not an easy task. Currently, such rings act as puzzles, the victory over which adds confidence to its owner.
Instructions
Step 1
Puzzle of 4 metal rings. Disassemble the ring into links: drop it on the table and it will disintegrate on its own. The peculiarity of this structure is that all 4 links are connected. Consider the rings, select among them 2 rings with a more pronounced bend and 2 sinusoidal rings (the bend of the ring resembles a sine or cosine, as it is convenient for anyone).
Step 2
Take 2 rings with a pronounced bend. One ring has narrow depressions, the other has wider ones. Place the narrow-hollow ring on top of the wide-hollow ring. Connect so that the front parts of the rings are tightly closed, and the back ones form a hole for the other two sinusoidal rings.
Step 3
Select a hollow sine ring and place it on top of the two assembled rings. The rest is more difficult to put in place while assembling the puzzle. Ensure it falls into the hole formed by the rings. It must be threaded into the available hole. As soon as the ring fell into the desired cavity and completed the integrity of the ring, the problem is solved.
