Playing a six-string guitar will require you not only to have the instrument itself, but also a lot of time and patience. At the same time, it does not matter whether you study on your own or under someone's guidance.
Instructions
Step 1
If you decide to study without anyone's help, then start by training the correct seating position, and precisely the seating position, since it is not recommended for beginners to play the guitar while standing. First, develop a comfortable position of your hands, because your future skill and mastery of the instrument will depend on this. Place the body of the guitar (in the place where it has a notch) on your left foot. Try to place the top of the bar at the level of your shoulder. Another rather important point is the level position of the body, you should not lean too much forward. Make sure that neither your body nor your hands are overstrained; for this, sit down as comfortably as possible.
Step 2
You will need chords and notes to learn. Download them online. Without them, you will not learn how to play the guitar, you will only be able to extract sounds from the instrument. Therefore, from the first lesson, try to play the notes and learn chords. The simplest ones are Am, A7, C, Dm, E. To practice notes, use the special note guide.
Step 3
Use additional materials: download video tutorials or even entire courses. From them you will glean a lot of useful and necessary information. You should start with the most simple lessons, since they do not have a large amount of specialized vocabulary, everything is explained as clearly and simply as possible. As a rule, such materials are marked “For beginners” or “For beginners” (this will mean that the course is adapted for those who are learning the game on their own). Also, you can practice famous songs. You can easily find the relevant information on the net.
