But the most pleasant thing is to weave a bauble yourself, because only then will it be original, reflecting your individual style.

It is necessary

  • - red and white thread;
  • - coil.

Instructions

Step 1

Baubles in the form of checkers are a very fashionable and stylish accessory today. Weaving such a bauble yourself is not at all difficult. The main thing is to show patience and perseverance. Try to make red and white checkers, but the colors can be changed to any others you wish, for example, a black and white bauble will look very original.

Step 2

To get started, take a skein of working, in other words, braiding thread, that is, red, and nine white threads. The working thread should be long enough, so before starting weaving it is recommended to wind it around something so that it does not get tangled, for example, on a spool.

Step 3

It should be clarified in advance that one checker will be three by three knots in size. First, make three right knots with braiding yarn. Then three knots to the left with white threads, and move the red thread to the right. The row needs to be weaved in a similar way, repeating your drawing. Then go down to the next row and do the opposite procedure - weave the left knots with the red thread, and the right ones with the white one. Then go to the third row and repeat the drawing of the first row.

Step 4

The first checkers are ready. Now you need to make sure that the red checkers are under the white ones, and the white ones are under the red ones, depicting a chessboard. You need to change the white and red nodes every three rows, since the drawing was initially set to three by three nodes. Having learned how to make baubles of this size, you can slightly change the pattern, experiment with the color scheme. If you plan to make a four by four knot pattern, you need to take twelve white threads. Show some patience, use your imagination, and you will succeed.
