This handmade soft toy will bring a lot of pleasure to both children and adults. The very process of creating such toys is exciting and interesting. Remnants of yarn and a crochet hook can be found in any home. The knitting method is the simplest one - single crochet. Any needlewoman can cope with it. The main thing is to knit a toy with a soul.
It is necessary
- For the toy Serpent-Gorynych:
- - leftover yarn of different colors;
- - hook;
- - wire for the frame;
- - synthetic winterizer or other filler.
Instructions
Step 1
The body of the Serpent-Gorynych is knitted like a glove. To do this, dial air loops so that they are 6 cm in diameter and connect them with a connecting post into a ring. Next, knit 20 round rows with single crochet stitches. Leave the tail hole 15 single crochets wide, as you would when doing a thumb on a glove. To do this, skip 15 single crochets, and above them make 15 stitches and in the next row knit single crochets into the chain stitches.
Step 2
To expand the torso to the shoulders, start adding 9 single crochets evenly (1 in every 2nd row). On both sides of the body, leave holes for the arms 8-10 single crochet wide and knit 2 more rows without additions. In the next row, divide all the columns into three parts and knit each of the head parts separately, like fingers in a glove. Knit 18 round rows of single crochets for one neck, leave a hole for 5-6 single crochets for the lower part of the mouth, knit 1 row and repeat this technique for the upper part of the mouth, knit 5 more rows, pull the columns of the last row with a needle, sew and fasten the thread to the wrong side. Proceed with the remaining necks with heads.
Step 3
For the tail, cast the stitches around the hole and knit 20 rows of single crochets exactly and 10 rows in a spiral, evenly decreasing the stitches. Close the remaining 3-4 columns, as when knitting heads. For a comb-tail, type a chain of air loops equal to the length of the tail and knit scallops from shells on it: 5-7 columns with two crochets in one loop. Starch the comb and sew to the tail with blind stitches.
Step 4
For the legs, divide the torso section below the tail into two halves and machine stitch. Insert a rigid wire frame into the legs and tail and stuff the torso tightly with padding polyester or other filler up to the opening of the arms.
Step 5
For the hand, type single crochet in a circle of holes, knit 15-16 rows in a spiral and close them like heads, having previously laid with filler. Tie the other hand in the same way.
Step 6
Insert the wire frame into the necks, connect them to the torso frame. Fill the necks with filler, embroider eyes on each of the three heads. Cast on single crochet stitches with red yarn around the top of the mouth and knit 6 rows. Then cast on single crochets around the bottom of the mouth and knit 5 rows. Fill all parts with padding polyester and connect opposite sides of each mouth on the front side with half-columns without a crochet, inserting the hook into the loops of the last rows of opposite sides.
