The graphic tablet opens up great prospects for the designer and the artist - with its help you can create the most daring and unusual examples of computer graphics. By combining the functionality of a tablet with the tools of Adobe Photoshop, you can paint any fantastic image. Let's consider this drawing using the example of creating a cyber frog, transforming an ordinary frog photo into an original graphic object.

Instructions

Step 1

In order to get a really high quality drawing, find a photo of the frog in high resolution. You can combine the shape of a frog with a mechanistic texture by separately selecting the parts from which you will create a new "shell" for your frog.

Step 2

Open a photo of a car or any other technical object and use the Lasso Tool to cut and copy some visually good mechanical parts onto a new layer. Transfer the cut out details to the frog photo.

Step 3

Now you are faced with a difficult task - to adjust the shape and size of these parts to the shape and outline of the frog's body, so that even after "robotization" it remains recognizable. Use the Transform> Distort tool for this.

Step 4

Change the size and shape of the details, distort them and place them on the frog's body so that the curves and shapes of the distorted details match the frog's shape. Thus, using the free transformation function, cover the entire surface of the frog's body with mechanical parts.

Step 5

Find a suitable piece that will follow the shape of the frog's head and "face" - for example, a metal pipe. Bend it and transform it so that the detail follows the shape of the frog's "face". Leave your eyes intact.

Step 6

Select the Smudge option on the toolbar, set the value to 70-80% and carefully fit all the details to the frog's body so that they flow around its shape more densely and efficiently.

Step 7

After placing all the details, use the brush tool to apply shadows. Use the tablet and pen to paint over the shaded areas with black, and then blend the shadows with a 60-70% Smudge tool. Additionally, with a light color, apply highlights to the convex places of the shape.

Step 8

Paint over unnecessary background fragments that need to be removed using the Clone Stamp tool.
