If you are faced with the task of drawing an even circle, then for its execution it is enough to get a compass. However, if there are no special devices at hand, then some tricks will help you out.
It is necessary
compasses, stencils of circles, thread, needle, pencil, ruler
Instructions
Step 1
One of the easiest ways to draw a circle is to use a pre-made stencil. These exist in the form of special rulers, and are also easily made independently from cardboard or plastic. To draw a circle, you need to attach the stencil to the surface, fix it and draw it around its walls with a pencil or pen. A stencil can be an object that you can circle around, for example, a cardboard holder for a mug.
Step 2
If you don't have a compass or stencils at hand, then you can use a simple method with a needle and thread. Tie one end of the thread tightly to a needle and the other to a pencil or pen. The distance between them is the radius of the circle. Place the needle in the marked center, and place the pencil against the paper at a distance of a radius. The thread should be tight. The difficulty of this method is that the thread during drawing should not fall or rise along a needle or drawing object.
Step 3
With a certain skill, you can only do with a pencil and a ruler. Place a point that will be the middle of the circle. Draw many lines through it. Use a ruler to mark a point on all lines. The distance from the center of the circle to this point will be the radius. Connect the dots with freehand strokes. The more lines you draw and the smaller the distance between them, the smoother the circle will turn out.
Step 4
If there is nothing at hand besides a pencil or a pen, you can use the method of a rigidly fixed hand. Firmly fix the pencil with any convenient grip, leaving the little finger free, set it in the center of the future circle. Tighten your brush and press your little finger down to the sheet as tightly as possible. Roll the paper around your finger under your brush. It should be noted that it is very difficult to obtain a perfectly flat circle using this method.
