Andrei Kunets is a gifted Belarusian singer and musician who gained wide popularity after winning second place at the Eurovision 2006 contest.
Biography and career
The future singer was born on December 7, 1995 in the city of Mozyr, Republic of Belarus. Andrey began his singing career at the YUMES singing studio, located in his hometown. The innate ability to sing in the young talent began to manifest itself almost immediately, even then he clearly decided for himself to connect his life with music.
Andrei Kunets in a relatively short time managed to take part in many music competitions both within his country and at international events. One of the main and most significant successes in the life of a young man can rightfully be called the second place at the international and well-known Junior Eurovision Song Contest, it happened in 2006.
He performed the song "New Day" and sang it so beautifully that after the performance no one had any doubts about his getting on the podium. But Eurovision is far from the only competition in which Andrei managed to show himself well and win awards. In 2008, the young singer tried himself as a participant in the Orpheus in Italy 2008 festival. Having performed best of all with the song "Belarus May", he deservedly became the winner of the event. In addition, he performed "Syabruyuts' Usse" in English version, for which he received a statuette of a gilded note.
