Usually stamps are made from white coated paper, but small batches of collectible items were made from unusual materials. These materials were papyrus, silk, nylon, aluminum, copper, steel, silver, gold, wood, vinyl, plastic.
The glue that is applied to the reverse side of the stamp, of course, must be safe for human health. After all, many people still lick the leaf before sticking it on. Now they use compositions based on PVA. From time to time, “tasty” brands are produced, the glue of which includes mint, vanillin, lemon juice and even pepper. Modern stamps are self-adhesive.
Some collections of brands can be viewed for hours - they are so beautiful, bright and diverse. The time for paper letters in envelopes with stamped stamps is practically over - e-mail is entering every home. But people send parcels, parcels and registered letters, which means they will not stop producing colorful jagged rectangles.
