Probably in every home you can find an old sweater that has long gone out of fashion. But, despite the outdated style, the quality and color of the threads remained excellent. Such a thing can be dissolved in order to knit a new one. You just need to return the old yarn to its shape.
Instructions
Step 1
Taking to unravel the product, do not rush to wind the yarn into a ball, since the thread must first be straightened. To do this, take an ordinary stool, turn it upside down and fasten the end of the yarn on one of them.
Step 2
Unfold the product gently and wind the thread around the legs of the stool. After completely unraveling the garment and winding the yarn around the stool, remove the skein and tie it in some places with a thread of a contrasting color.
Step 3
Wash the skein in warm water and a little shampoo or liquid soap. During washing, do not rub the skein too hard to avoid tangling the threads.
Step 4
Rinse the yarn in clean water with the addition of vinegar and without wringing, hang the skein on the edge of the tub. Place a basin at the bottom so that the liquid from the yarn flows into it. When the yarn is dry, rewind it into balls. Now you can start knitting.
