Before you start, select a drawing. Make sure that the drawing on the diagram is clear in each cell - the position of the beads depends on this. In this case, no more than four shades of the same color are allowed throughout the entire work area.

It is necessary

  • - beads
  • - canvas
  • - threads
  • - needles for beads

Instructions

Step 1

Select the beads using the following calculation: there are about 3000 beads in 100 g of beads; 100 beads are required for an area of 1 cm square. Choose a crochet depending on the size of the beads, so that the rows are not crowded and are not sparse.

Step 2

Calculate the size of the finished work, for this you need to divide the number of squares in the pattern by the weave density. If the work is medium in size, add 2–2.5 cm on each side. Carefully cut the fabric and wrap the edges with tape.

Step 3

Mark the canvas and draw on it using colored pencils or computer printing. Mark the drawing with squares with a side of 10 beads.

Step 4

In order to embroider with beads on the canvas without straying - work along the rows, mark the embroidered rows on a color copy of the scheme. Fasten the working thread (the thread should be the same color as the canvas or beads) from the seamy side. To do this, press the end of the thread with your finger from the seamy side of the canvas. Sew 2-3 stitches over it to secure the thread. In the process of work, a new thread must be fastened by threading it under the stitches on the wrong side of the product.

Step 5

Pull the thread to the right side of the canvas and sew the bead diagonally (half-cross technique). In this way, go through the entire row. The working thread must be changed when its length reaches 8 cm.

Step 6

Under the final bead of the row, fasten the working thread from the wrong side, while it is better to do without knots.

Step 7

Return to the beginning of work and sew the second and subsequent rows in the same way as the first row. It is better to embroider with beads on the canvas along the width of the pattern.

Step 8

Shape the finished product. This is best done with a steam jet iron. To do this, lay the product face down, steam it off and wait until it cools completely.
