It is necessary

  • For two figures:
  • - 17 * 10 cm plastic canvas with a density of 4 cells / 1 cm;
  • - felt;
  • - a thin needle;
  • - floss of white, beige-gray, gray-violet, red, burgundy, blue, turquoise, black

Instructions

Step 1

In order to get the perfect embroidery, the following points should be taken into account: when finishing the 1st row, go to the 2nd with “inverted” stitches.

Step 2

When sewing cross stitches, pass the needle under the already embroidered stitches. Close the outermost stitches of the 2nd row and move to the 3rd row.

Step 3

After making the last cross of the 3rd row, go to the 4th row. Then fill in all subsequent rows.

Step 5

Perform French floss knots in 3 folds: on the cuffs of the caps with white floss and on scarves with red floss.

Step 6

Adjust the density of the nodules as you wish. Cut out the piece along the purple line, one square away from the edge of the embroidery.

Step 7

Sew the part along the contour with a 3-fold white floss seam, making 2 stitches in each cell.

Step 8

For a pom-pom, wrap a white floss of 80-100 cm long around the pencil. Pass the needle and thread under the wrapping and tie the ends of the threads, pulling the wrapping.

Step 9

Cut the threads on the other side and trim them to fit the pom-pom on the embroidery.

Step 10

Fluff up the pom-pom and sew it to the figure. Sew the threads of the pom-pom to the canvas with small stitches, so that it fits snugly against the embroidery.

Step 11

Prepare a loop for hanging: fold a 20 cm long white floss in half and tie the ends in a knot.

Step 12

Attach the resulting loop from the seamy side of the embroidered product. Place the figurine on the felt of a suitable color, after applying a little glue to its seamy side.

Step 13

Cut the felt 2-3 mm back from the embroidery edge.

Step 14

You can glue a wooden stick instead of a loop, placing it between the embroidered part and the felt, or glue a magnet on the wrong side of the part.

Make the second dog figurine in the same way.
