There are several ways to draw a frog. For beginner artists, one of the simplest will go. After this method is mastered, you can draw a reptile sitting in profile.
Mischievous frog
To draw a mischievous toad, start with its eyes. Their outlines look like two small mountains or two inverted narrow horseshoes. Inside - pupils, make them round. After that, the part of the head is drawn where the mouth of the frog is located. It is oval. The lower part of the eyes lies on a horizontal oval. Draw a semicircle inside it - this is the mouth of a frog. Its corners are turned upwards so that the reptile smiles cheerfully.
If you want your character to be unusual and mischievous, then draw a small tongue on the right or left side of the mouth. Either the animal will soon stretch out its tongue to catch the mosquito or show it, as if teasing.
To make the frog cute, draw several long eyelashes on the top of the eyes, which are located vertically.
Draw the body of the frog just below the mouth of the head. To do this, draw a circle, the upper part of which lies on the lower mouth. In this circle, draw the same, but smaller. Here is such a funny tummy turned out from an animal.
Draw the right paw. It is drawn on the upper right side of the torso. First draw 2 small straight lines - this is his hand. Then, these small lines connect, but first they form 3 triangular oval reptile fingers.
The legs are like flippers. Draw them short and the feet long with three triangular toes.
You can create a pencil drawing and then color it.
Take a green marker or paint. Use them to color the animal, leaving the inside of the abdomen intact (small circle), which you transform with light green or light green paint.
Leave the eyes inside as well as they were originally drawn, just paint over the pupils in brown. A black felt-tip pen will help your lashes become even more beautiful and expressive. By the way, colored pencils will help achieve the same effect.
Frog sitting sideways
After the simple drawing is created, you can draw a more realistic pencil frog that sits in profile. Draw a vertical oval. Its left edge is pointed. From this sharp corner, draw a semicircular line to the right. This is the mouth of the frog. Draw a small circle at the top of the oval for her eye.
From the bottom of the oval, intersecting with it, there is a second oval. It is larger than the first. The left edges of these shapes are on the same line, but the lower semicircle has gone much further to the right. This is the body of an animal.
At the bottom, in the middle of the large oval, draw a small foot, and at the bottom, but on the right, a large one. Now circle 2 ovals so that you get a single shape. To do this, from the mouth, draw a continuous semicircular line to the stomach. It remains to erase the auxiliary lines and admire the frog drawn with a pencil. You can depict a pond nearby in which an extraordinary frog is swimming.
