Laces are an irreplaceable thing in everyday life. They can become both an improvised means for packaging and an exquisite accessory in clothes. Knitting laces is the easiest thing in the world, but here there are some subtleties.
It is necessary
threads, knitting needles, crochet
Instructions
Step 1
On the needles
Cast on 50 (100, 150, in total, as needed for the required lace length) loops and knit 2 (3, 4) rows with the front stitch. Close the hinges. The strip will itself twist into the lace. The lace is soft and pliable.
You only need to type and close on larger needles.
You can knit a cord and across.
You need to take short stocking needles. Cast on loops to the width of the cord and knit with the front stitch without edge loops to the length you need.
Step 2
Crochet lace
The easiest way is to knit a chain of air loops. Such laces are very well obtained from thick yarn or multi-colored threads in several folds.
You can knit a chain and knit a row of double crochets. It turns out a ribbon.
Step 3
A decorative, very beautiful lace will turn out if you take several multi-colored threads (three or more), tie the ends with a knot. From the first thread, tie an air loop, stretch the second thread through it, then the third, and so on, alternating the threads in order. The entire lace is knitted with air loops, nothing complicated, but in appearance it will differ from a crocheted lace.
