The chain "crosses" is considered universal, there are many options for weaving it. If you use beads of two colors, the chain will look like a zigzag, and several rows of two-color "crosses" form neat rhombuses. Two-tone chains look very nice, they are simple to carry out.

It is necessary

Beads of two colors or large beads, thin beaded needles, scissors, strong thread or fishing line, colorless nail polish

Instructions

Step 1

The chain is woven just like a one-color one. Each "cross" has two horizontal and two vertical beads (one of them is connecting). For weaving, beads of two colors are used, it must be the same size and the same shape. It is better to use large diameter round beads. Cast on a thread three beads, two "color A" and one "color B", move them to the middle of the working thread. Fold it in half, the ends should be the same length.

Step 2

Insert both threads (from different sides) into the connecting bead (the threads in the bead cross and change their position relative to the work), move the bead to the rest. It turned out the first "cross". All subsequent elements of the chain are woven from three beads, in a certain color sequence.

Step 3

Color B beads should be placed diagonally and horizontally. You will get a chain that looks like a zigzag, in subsequent rows it forms several rhombuses. A chain of one row of two-color "crosses" looks more impressive.

Step 4

The connecting bead "color A" is placed vertically in all rows. You can experiment, weave a chain of two beads "color A" (vertical) and two beads "color B" (horizontal).

Step 5

Weave a chain of the required length. Weaving can be transverse (the length of the product increases with each row), as well as longitudinal (the width of the decoration changes).

Step 6

To weave the second and subsequent rows, it is necessary to change the arrangement of the threads. To do this, insert the threads into a horizontal bead (in this case, there will be two beads on one of the threads, and only one connecting bead on the other). The left thread will change its direction (it will be on the right), and the right one will be on the left relative to the work.

Step 7

In the second and subsequent rows, the main thing is to correctly arrange the beads. There should be no repetitions of color. The color B bead must be horizontal in all rows. If you place it vertically, you will not get an even background, rhombuses will not form. To weave the first "cross" of each new row, you need to add three beads (the third connecting one). To weave the following "crosses", the working thread is inserted into the upper bead of the previous row, two more beads are added (one of the working threads will have two beads: connecting and horizontal from the previous row).

Step 8

Weave the required number of "crosses", in the latter change the direction of the working threads (step 6). The upper horizontal bead is considered to be a connecting bead.

Step 9

Beads of “color A” make large “crosses” that form rhombuses. In this way, you can weave a bracelet or necklace. Use colorless nail polish to secure the threads in the jewelry.
