Children love to sculpt from plasticine. This is amazing stuff. The wide selection of its different types is so great that even one-year-old babies can be sculpted. But, perhaps, the most interesting is ball or granular plasticine. This material can be of various colors and differ in grain size (fine and coarse). It can also air-cure or remain a soft model. How to sculpt from granular plasticine?
It is necessary
ball plasticine
Instructions
Step 1
It is not necessary to equip a special place for sculpting from ball plasticine or use boards and stacks. This plasticine does not smear at all and will not ruin clothes or carpet. You can even take it with you on the road and the little sculptor will be able to sculpt in the car.
Step 2
If the child is not yet two years old, then it is more advisable to purchase coarse-grained non-solidifying plasticine for him. Large foam balls in it are held together on the basis of glycerin. Invite your kid to fill bowls and boxes with funny balls of different colors, or roll large lumps. If the clay becomes very dry, just sprinkle it with water and the "stickiness" property will be restored. The only negative - over time, the mass becomes dirty from dust and small particles trapped in the adhesive base.
Step 3
A child who knows how to sculpt or an adult will be able to make some kind of craft (photo frame, picture on cardboard, toy). For this purpose, fine-grained solidifying plasticine is suitable. The foam balls in it are held together on a gel base, and the work performed will dry out within 3-12 hours. For large figures, choose a base, such as a crumpled piece of paper. Apply ball plasticine evenly to this workpiece. Complete the figure with details from ordinary plasticine or modeling mass (eyes, tail, ears).
Step 4
You can make a panel from fine-grained plasticine. Sketch on cardboard or heavy paper. Fill the details evenly with grains of different colors until the whole picture is colored and three-dimensional. Leave the work to dry completely. Such a picture can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall.
Step 5
Try to make a pretty pencil holder. Find the right size jar. With a simple pencil or wax crayon, make a simple drawing on it. Gently stick the jar with fine-grained plasticine of the desired colors and leave until it hardens completely.
