Sometimes pennants and flags become part of the background in photographs. Unfortunately, in most cases they do not flutter. This happens often due to the weather, over which a person has no control. And I want everything in the photo to look beautiful. It takes some effort to make a truly eye-catching flying flag.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, you need to understand how exactly the image we need is created. Later it will be possible to make adjustments to the photos so that the changes are invisible. Create a new document in adobe photoshop. To do this, go to the file section and select new (new document). In the context menu, specify the name of the future document, dimensions, extension and color model. The size can be made as for standard photographs (10 x 15 cm). The color model must be RGB (RGB), CMYK (CMYK) or Lab (Lab).

Step 2

Select the pen tool. The easiest way to draw and adjust the flag will be with this tool. Click on the square icon with round handles at the corners. Thanks to this, your image will be created on a separate layer, and you can adjust it at any time. Further, by pressing the left mouse button, you create the first point of the future flag. While creating the next point, hold down the left button and, slightly moving the cursor to the side, release. Now the line connecting the points will be curved. When you put the next point (only if you held down the mouse button, as mentioned above), two lines move away from it. If you hold down the ctrl button and drag one of these lines, you can change the curvature of the lines connecting the points of the future flag. Since you are creating a developing canvas, it should be wavy in shape. In order for the image you created to be realistic, it is recommended to make these waves smooth.

Step 3

Open the layer palette (layers). To do this, select the item of the same name in the view section. In this palette, in addition to the background layer, there is also your image. If you need to make changes to the shape of the created flag, select the direct selection tool, which looks like a white arrow. Click inside the path formed by the points, and then again directly on the path where you want to make changes. You can move the points, or you can offset those lines with points at the end that control the shape of the lines. To color the flag, you need to double-click on the space next to the layer name in the layer palette. Select the gradient overlay from the menu. Experiment with colors until you get the desired result. The flag is ready.
